We're the only dive center in PV that provides 100 cu-ft steel scuba cylinders for more advanced divers. Everyone else offers only standard 77 cu-ft aluminum. We offer the Al-77s for newer or smaller divers for whom the 100's might be too heavy.

You're making a great effort and spending your hard-earned cash, so take advantage and stay underwater longer!

We constantly renovate our equipment to make sure that you're safe and comfortable while diving. If you've used rental equipment during your dive trips, you'll know that this is not the norm with most dive centers.

Weight-integrated BCDs.

So you can dive more comfortably without bulky weight belts, our rental BCDs are weight integrated.

Our competitors haven't found out that women don't fit well into men's suits. Why everyone else offers only mens' sizes? Beats us! (maybe to save money by not buying so many suits?)

Oh, and we also provide hoods when the water cools off. We understand that a lot of body heat is lost through the head, so what's the point of providing suits and not hoods? We want you to dive comfortably!

You come to us to dive, not to take a long boat trip. Our dive boat is equipped with twin 175 HP Evinrude E-tec engines, which makes it the fastest dive boat in town. The twin engines give it added safety for the longer trips.

PVScuba offers facilities no one else in Puerto Vallarta has:

1. Private dock. Safe and convenient boarding
2. Restaurant on site. Wanna grab a bite to eat before or after the dive? please do...
3. Rinsing facilities. It's nice to get the salt off your body after a day's dive. You can rinse yourself in our showers or take a dip in our swimming pool.
4. Hotel. Need a place to stay? Our dive center is located within the premises of the Howard Johnson Nautilus.

Diving School

We offer a full range of certification courses, inlcluding PADI specialty certifications not offered by most of our competitors: Digital Underwater Photography, Deep Diver, Night Diver, etc.

And we're a PADI Master Scuba Diver Completion center, so you can come to us to reach PADI's highest rating for recreational diving.

If you're learning to dive or getting your Open Water certification, there's nothing like training in "water too deep to stand in", as required by PADI standards for many of the exercises.

Your alternative is the 4 to 5-ft-deep pools where our competitors offer their training.

It's also great for starting on your Digital Underwater Photography and Peak Performance Buoyancy certifications, or for doing a Scuba Review if you haven't dived for a while.
